<div style="text-align:justify"><strong>Lisbon, Portugal – October 12th, 2011</strong> – STREAMBOW, a leading provider of quality of experience and service solutions for mobile, home and access networks, today announced that Vodafone Portugal has selected its <em><strong>Xperience</strong></em> solution to diagnose and monitor the customer experience of end user’s mobile internet services.</p>
<p>By implementing <em><strong>Xperience Care Center</strong></em>, Vodafone Portugal reduces significantly the diagnosis and support time spent per incident resulting in reduced support costs and at the same time better customer attendance. <em><strong>Xperience Care Center</strong></em> is running in-depth, real-time, on-demand diagnostics directly on customers’ computer, to identify service bottlenecks, equipment failures, configuration or network issues.</p>
<p>Using <em><strong>Xperience Care Center</strong></em>, the customer is instructed to launch a diagnosis session on the fly from a link via Vodafone’s service portal, without requiring any pre-deployment. The entirely web-based, solution performs end-to-end testing and measurement including, latency, bandwidth measurement, equipment diagnostics and more. Test results are practically instant and viewable by the support technician and the customer at the same time. The unique combination of equipment diagnostics and throughput data offers the technician a holistic view to customers’ service experience allowing instant classification between customer or network issues.</p>
<p>This fast resolution offers Vodafone Portugal the ability to increase customer satisfaction and productivity while saving Vodafone time and costs, avoiding unnecessary on-site support or implementing more investigative testing from their end.</p>

<p>Taking quality of experience measurements to a new level, Streambow’s Xperience monitoring solution involves PT´s end customers directly in measurement campaigns. Representative groups of customers can be invited to participate in quality of experience surveys. Running such campaigns, will generate valuable measurement data from all involved customer PCs. As very big numbers of customers can be covered by such campaigns, PT is now able to generate realistic pictures of the “end customer quality experience”.</p>
<p>In addition, PT can conduct network surveys based on own hardware, by distributing Xperience clients at strategic points of their network. <p>As the demand for faster Internet services is increasing operators are facing  more performance problems in their access networks. By consequence, more  unsatisfied customers are loading operators&#8217; Call Centers. Today, complaints  about poor performance are already among the top 3 of operators&#8217; support  statistics.</p>
<p>The Xperience Care Center solution helps operators to efficiently cope with  this situation, by  either avoiding that complaints reach help-desk or by  reducing fault positives that would charge level 2 analysis .<br />

<p>Knowing that customer feedback is the most valuable resource of understanding customer satisfaction levels, <strong><em>Xperience QoE Toolset</em></strong> was enhanced by an integrated <strong><em>Customer Feedback</em></strong> feature allowing operators to design and run template driven customer queries.</p>
<p>So far, <strong><em>Xperience</em></strong> delivered <em>objective QoE</em> values based on hard factors, like performance tests and diagnostics.</p>
<p>Now, with the new customer feedback feature, operator get also the soft factors, forming <em>subjective QoE values</em>: e.g. the degree of customer satisfaction with the contracted service or the satisfaction level with help-desk support.</p>
<p>The realisation of new feedback campaigns is fully customizable to the operators&#8217; needs. Some example scenarios are:</p>
<p>In a self-care environment, customers may respond to the standard questionnaire that normally is asked by the help-desk stuff during a support session.</p>
<p>In the context of performance complaints, customers may give additional hints that can speed-up help-desk resolution times. Or, at the end of a help-desk sessions, they may feedback their satisfaction with the given support.</p>
<p>In a commercial scenario, e.g. when promoting higher bandwidth services, customer feedback may be collected along with measurements to analyse the general success of such campaigns. In addition, the generated data is valuable information to build-up a bandwidth to satisfaction statistic that allows to answer the question of how many bandwidth should be provided as minimum to achieve certain satisfaction levels.</p>
